On July 30, 2007, MOSAID announced that it had concluded the sale of certain assets of its Semiconductor Intellectual Property (SIP) product development business to Synopsys, Inc. (Nasdaq:SNPS).

Synopsys has purchased the assets and intellectual property associated with MOSAID's Double Data Rate (Memorize^TM) memory controller and Phase Locked Loop (Maestro ^TM) product families.
