Court To Postpone Texas Markman Hearing

Settlement Discussions Ongoing

OTTAWA, Ontario, Canada – May 26, 2006 - MOSAID Technologies Incorporated (TSX:MSD) today announced that as a result of a joint request by Infineon Technologies and MOSAID, Judge Davis of the District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Tyler Division, will be granting an order postponing the Markman hearing originally scheduled for May 31, 2006 for thirty days to allow the parties to focus on ongoing settlement discussions.
