MOSAID Technologies Inc. has an immediate requirement for an experienced candidate to fill the role of Accounts Payable Administrator.

Job Purpose and Mandate:

As a member of the Finance team, the Accounts Payable Administrator is an active contributor to the daily accounting operations as the prime in Accounts Payables with responsibility for the entire accounts payable cycle.

Duties:

  • Entering vendor invoices into accounting system for multiple companies and in different currencies
  • Review invoices and expense reports submitted for completeness and accuracy
  • Working with other employees to ensure expense coding is complete
  • Allocating general ledger account codes to invoices when necessary
  • Preparing weekly cheque runs
  • Preparing and sending wire transfer instructions
  • Providing accurate, timely accrued liabilities while ensuring appropriate cut-off measures are utilized
  • Contacting suppliers to obtain accrual and outstanding invoice information
  • Maintaining and reconciling accounts payable and accrued liabilities
  • Processing expense reports and verifying data and that appropriate approvals are obtained
  • Processing expense reports in ADP
  • Receiving of purchase orders related to services, maintenance contracts, subcontract suppliers, etc.
  • Matching, reconciling, analyzing and processing of invoices
  • Reviewing and reconciling periodically PO requisitions and PO delinquent reports to ensure accuracy
  • Investigating and resolving invoicing and supplier statement issues in a timely manner
  • Providing various monthly and periodic reports
  • Managing vendor inquiries
  • Assisting with auditor requests for backup documentation
  • Updating process documentation
  • Backup for processing Canadian and US payroll using ADP or similar provider

Job Requirements:

  • Post-secondary diploma in Accounting or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in accounts payables in a fully integrated accounting environment
  • Experience with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Job Assets:

  • Experience with MS NAV
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
  • Strong commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently within a team environment and respond effectively to change
  • Diplomatic demeanor
